Please review the activities that are available to you and your guest during the program. Changes on-site in Sedona will be difficult to accommodate so please read about each activity before you confirm your selections. The Yamaha Concierge can answer any questions you may have regarding the activities.
YAMAHA GROUP ACTIVITY - TUESDAY, MAY 21
YAMAHA GROUP DAY TRIP TO THE GRAND CANYON
The Yamaha OEM group will get an early start from the Enchantment Resort when we head to the Sedona Airport for a 45 minute charter flight to the Grand Canyon. We will met by hummers at the Grand Canyon Airport for a tour around the South Rim. The tour includes stops along some of the most popular vistas overlooking the Grand Canyon National Park. A professional guide will provide you with the history of the region, the forces of nature that shaped the canyon, and the ancient people who inhabited the land. Discover dramatic rock formations and gorges that took millions of years to create from the comfort of a Hummer. After the tour you will enjoy lunch at the El Tovar Hotel. This celebrated historic hotel first opened in 1905. After lunch you will enjoy a walk around the South Rim that will give you time for shopping and photos. We will head back to Grand Canyon Airport for our flight to Sedona and the Enchantment Resort.
Attire: Casual attire with comfortable walking shoes, jeans acceptable. Bring along a jacket as it will be cooler and potentially windy at the Grand Canyon.
Fitness Level: Youthful energy and desire for fun with a majestic backdrop!
OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES – WEDNESDAY MAY 22
Mii amo Spa
Inspired by the rich wisdom and traditions of Native American people, and complemented by the beauty and energy of the Red Rocks, Mii amo spa retreat presents a luxurious, holistic experience where Yamaha guests can find balance and harmony. Guests can choose from a 50-minute signature facial or massage. Appointment times are limited and based on first come, first booked.
Transfer: a one-minute walk from the Yamaha Hospitality Village
Attire: Feel free to wear the robe from your room to the spa or robes and slippers are provided at the spa.
Fitness Level: A love for being pampered!
Hot Air Ballooning
A truly magical feeling, soaring gently with the wind experiencing an "Aerial Nature Walk.”
Sedona's natural wonders and wildlife sightings will delight you. Experience the splendor of gliding over Mother Nature's own beautiful, panoramic Red Rock Country. The fun begins with the exciting inflation of the balloon, and before you know it, you’re soaring with the eagles! Watch the sunrise during your ascent. After your gentle lift-off, you'll be gliding over the gorgeous red rock country. The views are simply incredible! Activity departs the Yamaha Hospitality Village at 5:30am and will return at approximately 10:00am.
Please note this activity is weather dependent.
Transfer: Transfers depend on launch site. It could be a 5 -minute transfer or a 15-minute transfer.
Attire: Comfortable warm clothing. Layers are best as it will be warmer in the basket!
Fitness Level: Just a love for fantastic views and no fear of heights for this one!
Golf at Seven Canyons Golf Course
Defined by Sedona’s natural artistry and crafted by a legendary golf champion, the award-winning Seven Canyons golf experience is as unforgettable as its epic red rock setting. The course literally took PGA Tour legend Tom Weiskopf’s breath away.
Measuring nearly 7,000 yards from the championship tees, Seven Canyons more than compensates for its length in total yardage of natural beauty and walkability. This intimate par-70 course winds its way among jagged cliff faces, red rock monoliths and ancient ponderosa pines, creating risk/reward situations: astute bunkering with small greens, subtle contours, reasonably tight fairways, narrow landing areas and constantly changing elevations that put a premium on shot making.
Masterfully contoured amongst this stunning backdrop, 18 holes of challenging play are bordered by the pristine landscapes of the Coconino National Forest and the Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness. It’s hard to imagine a more captivating setting—and the industry’s most prestigious publications agree.
Activity departs from the Yamaha Hospitality Village and will be based on tee times. Club rentals will be provided.
Attire: Proper golf attire and golf shoes are required.
Transfer: 5-minute shuttle to the golf course
Fitness Level: Your fitness level should include the ability to play 18 holes of golf.
